Rue’s Rabbit Retreat was created by a rabbit owner who knows how hard it is to find safe, loving care while away from home. That challenge sparked the idea for a retreat built just for rabbits—by someone who truly gets them.
Rue, our gentle rescue bunny, inspired both our name and our philosophy: individualized care rooted in trust, compassion, and respect. Her memory lives on in every detail of our retreat.
We’re also committed to preventing rabbit abandonment. If a guest is left behind, we act quickly—partnering with rescues or welcoming them into our permanent family.
